Kellogg’s will become Manchester City’s official breakfast cereal partner for several years.
The agreement applies equally to the women’s and men’s teams. For the men’s event, Kellogg’s will be prominently featured at the Etihad Stadium and for the women’s event at the Joie Stadium. The brand will also be included in other match day activities. For Kellogg’s it’s not just about the appeal and reach of a club like Manchester City, it’s also a regional concern. One of the worldwide Kellogg’s branches and at the same time the UK headquarters are located on the outskirts of Manchester in Salford.
Chris Silcock, Managing Director of Kellanova UK said of the new collaboration: “Our Kellogg’s brand has been part of life in Manchester for over 85 years. So it’s only right to partner with another iconic Manchester institution.
Kaitlyn Beale, VP of Global Partnership Sales at City Football Group, also emphasizes the regional importance: “Like Manchester City, Kellogg’s is an organization closely linked to the culture and history of Manchester. We look forward to cooperation.”
