Keli Ummulhamam Area Library inaugurated, Gulf News

Riyadh: As part of increasing reading habits and historical awareness among expatriates, a zone library has been started under the leadership of various zone committees of the Keli Arts and Culture Center. As part of this, the Keli Ummul Hamam Area Library was inaugurated by Roy Ignatius, Acting Secretary of Ummul Hamam Area Patron, Chandrachudan Area Committee Member.

Area President Biju presided over the service, and Area Secretary Naufal welcomed the event. Keli Acting Secretary Sunil Kumar, Patron Committee Member Feroze Tayil and Central Committee Member Satish Kumar Valavil gave their regards.

12 areas of Keli are focused on conducting library activities. The activity of the local library is getting a good response, launched with the aim of making it easier for expatriates to find books and with the good intention of embarking on a path to restore the stalled interest in reading by the expat community. Officials have advised that many non-residents are stepping forward ready to hand over book collections to the library. The inauguration ceremony was attended by Rakshadhikari Samiti Area members, Area Committee members and workers from various units. Area Treasurer Suresh gave a vote of thanks for the service.
