Kelheim: Healthy companies

The Kelheim District Office would like to support local companies and therefore started the seminar series for the second time in 2020. As in 2016, the district office cooperated with the Hans Lindner Foundation / Hans Lindner Regional Funding.

In January 2020, when the planning for the seminar series “Healthy Companies in the Kelheim District” started on the subject of corporate health management, the extent of Corona could not yet be foreseen, as the organizers say. Five afternoon seminars were planned in the district office – now after completion there was a seminar to start on October 8th in the district office building and four online seminar afternoons that took place every four weeks. However, no less instructive and successful, the organizers and participants alike draw a positive balance in retrospect.

Martin Simmel and Willy Graßl from the institute spoke to the 22 participants from 19 companies about the following content: How do you create the prerequisites for OHM? How do you find the foundation for a good OHM? What are best practices and tools for implementation and application? In addition, the participants were accompanied with homework and personal consultation between the seminars.

Despite the positive balance, there was one downer – the entrepreneur award “Healthy Companies in the District of Kelheim” had to be canceled. The project leader and regional manager Christina Bauer from the district office shows understanding: “The municipalities, public institutions and companies currently have many issues to deal with due to the difficult situation and that is why many potential applicants have decided against it. We hope to open the competition at a later date to be able to rewrite “.

Those who have applied have the opportunity to present themselves on the district’s homepage – at www. district-Kelheim. de / Unternehmerpreis you can find some company presentations on corporate health management. The offer was funded by the Bavarian State Ministry for Economic Affairs, Regional Development and Energy. DK
