Delhi’s Welfare Programs Under Scrutiny: Kejriwal accuses BJP, Congress of Sabotage

The conflict ‌escalated‍ after Sandeep ⁤Dikshit, a Congress leader, filed a complaint with Delhi’s⁤ Lieutenant Governor, V.K. Saxena, alleging fraud within the “Mahila‍ Samman” program. This prompted the Delhi government’s Women​ and Child Growth and Health departments to issue public notices on Wednesday, distancing themselves‌ from⁤ the‍ AAP’s promised financial aid and healthcare benefits. ‍ The departments​ warned citizens against sharing⁢ personal facts with individuals or groups promoting these programs,stating that such actions are “fraudulent and without any ‍authority.”

Adding fuel to the fire, AAP leaders Atishi and Sanjay Singh accused Congress leaders Ajay maken and Sandeep Dixit of prioritizing attacks on the AAP rather than focusing on the BJP. The AAP even threatened to push for ⁢congress’s expulsion from the INDIA⁢ bloc,a ​coalition of opposition parties,if‌ disciplinary action isn’t⁢ taken against its leaders within 24 hours. The⁣ AAP alleges collusion between Congress and⁢ the BJP to damage the AAP’s political standing.
