Keith fights cancer – cancels concerts

– Last autumn, I was diagnosed with stomach cancer, says country star Toby Keith on Twitter.

– I have spent the last six months with chemotherapy, radiation therapy and surgery. So far so good. Now I need time to breathe, recover and relax.

When Keith released an album last year, it was also announced that he would not be touring due to the pandemic.

Toby Keith released her debut album in her home state of Oklahoma in 1993, and is known for hits such as “Red Solo Cup” and “I Wanna Talk ABout Me”. In 2002, he had a major breakthrough with the song “Courtesy of the Red White and Blue (The Angry American)” which came out just after the attack on the Twin Towers on the ninth of September.

Keith has performed hundreds of times for US troops abroad, including in Afghanistan and Iraq. He has also performed at events with Presidents Donald Trump, Barack Obama and George W. Bush.
