[Kein VPN] Spotify Premium permanently for 1.80 € per month via Vietnam (credit card required!)

I once again dealt with my favorite topic and found a way to get Spotify Premium cheaper even without a VPN. The whole thing runs as a normal premium subscription via Vietnam with monthly billing (2,15€ / M) or annual prepayment (21,50€ / a = 1,80€ / M) via PayPal! Nothing with prepaid credit or something.

First, let’s create a Vietnamese PayPal account as follows:

• paypal.com/vn/…ome
• first scroll all the way down and check if the language is on English is set and the flag Vietnam indicates

• at the top right Sign Up click
• we vote “Personal Account” and “Online Shopper“

• now comes the hardest part: SMS verification with Vietnamese mobile phone number – for me the service from de.mytempsms.com5sim.net/smspva.com/ (thanks @revunix) works! We look for a provider who provides Vietnamese mobile phone numbers for receiving SMS (area code +87) and confirm the security code sent
• then you enter your name, email and password
• now you are looking for a Vietnamese address (hotel, shop, everything works)
• Identification Type: Passport, ID Number:
• Now we click at the bottom on “Add a card to start using you PayPal Account” – the credit card information is given here (I was able to test Barclaycard New VISA, free Mastercard Gold, Santander 1plus card)

PayPal is now working and accepting standing orders.

Now we’re switching to Spotify!

• spotify.com/de/(NOT Vietnam, no VPN, nothing at all)
• top right on “to register“click and register as normal
• then we click on “Profile” -> “account“and then left”Account overview“
• now we choose “Subscribe to Spotify Premium“

• now comes the most important part: at the bottom we choose “Change Country“and switch to”Vietnam“

• Almost there! Now we choose PayPal as a payment method and enter the account information from the newly created “Vietnam Account”.

Et voila! Now we have a free month and then every month 59,000 vietnamesische Dong (about € 2.15) debited. Of course, credit cards without foreign transaction fees are worthwhile here.
The full annual membership for 12 months costs VND 590,000(about 21.50 € = 1.80 € / month).
Family and student membership does not seem to be possible in Vietnam.

The sections “Charts”, “Popular New Releases”, “Trending Now” and possibly others show predominantly Vietnamese artists. Who knows what he wants to hear, however, is not doing anything wrong here! I couldn’t find any difference to the German catalog, but I’m happy to add that.
