On Wednesday, the Confederation of African Football (CAF) sent an official letter to the Egyptian Football Association, informing it of the disciplinary commission’s decisions regarding the suspension of coach Ahmed Adel Ibrahim, coach of Rwanda’s Jasoji United.
The disciplinary commission, led by South African Raymond Hack, had previously decided to ban coach Ahmed Adel Ibrahim from practicing any activity related to African football for a period of five years.
The disciplinary commission’s decision came due to complaints that Ahmed Adel infringed his training license, which was supposed to be signed by Anthony Bavu, the former assistant secretary general of the CAF.
Kaf knew that the name of the coach, Ahmed Ibrahim, is not registered in the training license list and that the name of the owner of this “A” license did not provide documents to the coach, which means that he provided documents.
According to the letter “K”, Ahmed Adel Ibrahim has never enrolled in the “A” license course in Burkina Faso and has not received any diplomas from this federation.
The disciplinary commission confirmed that Ahmed Adel Ibrahim has not submitted any statements under the current disciplinary procedure, nor any evidence to answer the allegations of infringement of his license.
Rwandan Premier League club Jasoji United decided to appoint Ahmed Adel as the team’s new manager last July.
This is Adel’s second term in Rwanda after coaching Musenza before leaving the country in April 2020 following the outbreak of the Coruna virus.
