At least two adopted children were from a fraudulent repairman to which it was connected without a traceunrelated to their biological mother.
Van der Spek broke that news, in collaboration with Barbara Quee, a deceived adoptee who started a research agency. When asked, Van der Spek states that there are more than two discrepancies. ,, I received two other mismatches due to without a trace were caused, “says the television producer.
Van der Spek went in search of repairman Edwin Vela and his “boss” Vicky Diez on Tuesday night’s broadcast. He spoke to Diez, who claimed he knew nothing. After that conversation neither Diez nor Vela were reached, their photos disappeared from the Colombian Roots company website and since then no trace.
KRO-NCRV stated that Vela was involved in a total of sixteen cases. Of these, two were mismatches and two (via DNA testing) were successful. “We will re-examine the other twelve cases and, if desired and possible, we will offer the people involved a DNA test.” It is unclear whether these two new Van der Spek discrepancies belong to these twelve cases the broadcaster is investigating.
