For the ninth consecutive year, the American League won the 2022 All-Star Game from Dodger Stadium in its 92nd edition after beating the National League by a score of three runs to two.
The historic Fernando Valenzuela was in charge of throwing the first ball and it was also Mexican Alejandro Kirk who received the pitch to later start the match with Clayton Kershaw’s first start in a Mid-Season Classic.

Shane McClanahan led off for the American and received the only two runs his opponent would score after allowing a single to Mookie Betts and a home run by Paul Goldsmith in the same first inning.
The American bats responded in the fourth chapter to Tony Gonsolin’s pitches with a couple of homers by Giancarlo Stanton that tied the game and one more by Byron Buxton that turned the score around and eventually won.

Miguel Cabreras and Albert Pujols, who received the invitation to the All-Star Game as a tribute to their career, entered as emergent players and added a turn without achieving unstoppable but receiving applause from the fans.
Finally, Giancarlo Stanton was named the Most Valuable Player after hitting the two-run homer that tied the score and changed the course of the match so that the American League stayed with the victory to place its win mark at 47-44 on the circuit. national.
