American YouTube star Keenan Cahill (27) has died. Cahill’s manager David Graham explains it American celebrity website TMZ Friday night.
Manager Graham says Keenan has been placed into an induced coma after complications arose during open heart surgery on 15 December. Additionally, he says Keenan died on Thursday, December 29, when treatment at the Chicago hospital stopped.
An open heart operation is performed by opening the chest, according to Oslo University Hospital. The surgery is performed on the heart and main artery through an opening in the breastbone. During the operation, the patient is connected to a heart-lung machine which ensures that the brain and the rest of the body are supplied with oxygen-rich blood.
As a child, Cahill was diagnosed with the rare Maroteaux-Lamys disease.

Cahill had his heyday around 2010 when he mimed songs that were popular at the time. In the most famous of Cahill Youtube videos mimes the song “Down On Me” with rap star 50 Cent. The video has over 60 million views.
Early in his YouTube career, Cahill sang famous songs himself, while listening to them. Among other things he has video of him singing the hit song “Down” over four million views.
