Kebo Bule, the heirloom of the Solo Palace, died from exposure to PMK, this is what it looks like

A bird kebo bule or an albino buffalo belonging to the Surakarta Kasunanan Palace died. Before dying, the Caucasian Kebo named Apon showed symptoms of being exposed to mouth and nail disease (PMK).

Deputy Pengageng Sasono Wilopo of the Surakarta Kasunanan Palace, KP Dani Nur Adiningrat, confirmed that the buffalo died on Thursday (21/7) and was immediately buried that night. The buffalo named Apon is in his 20s.

“Indeed, one died, a female, in her 20s,” said Dani when contacted as reported by detikJateng, Friday (22/7/2022).

According to him, checking the condition of the buffalo has been carried out since two weeks ago, but no indication of PMK has been found. It was only yesterday that PMK indications were found when the buffalo died.

“Since two weeks ago, it has been checked. Finally, a week ago, there were no indications. After yesterday there was one who died, checked by the Dinspertan doctor and an independent doctor, it turned out that there was an indication of PMK,” he said.

The dead buffalo were in the west side of the pen and separated from the others. A total of seven buffalo in the cage were also exposed to FMD.
