Are actor Keanu Reeves (57) and actress Winona Ryder (50) married? That’s what it looks like anyway. The actor recently responded to the rumor and couldn’t deny it.

“Technically,” Keanu Reeves and Winona Ryder are married. That’s a rumor that has been going around for a while. That’s because they played lovers in the drama Dracula by Francis Ford Coppola in 1992. Reeves recently revealed that the wedding in the film was performed by a real priest, meaning he and Winona Ryder would actually be husband and wife.
“We did a whole take of a wedding ceremony with real priests,” Reeves told Esquire. “Winona says it’s us. Coppola says we are. So I think we got married in the eyes of God.”
Winona Ryder also claimed that the two are married. “We actually got married in Dracula,” she revealed in an interview with Entertainment Weekly from 2018. “No, I swear to God I think we got married for real. In that scene, Francis used a real Romanian priest. We were filming and he did the whole thing. So I think we’re married.”
And Coppola didn’t deny it either. “This is pretty authentic and I think very beautiful because we actually did the ceremony and let the priest do the ceremony,” Coppola told in 2018 The Guardian. “So in a way, when we were all done, we realized that Keanu and Winona are really married because of this scene and this ceremony.”
Ryder and Reeves have been friends for years and have appeared in countless films together.
