The Korea Development Institute and KDI evaluated the current economic situation that the growth of the manufacturing industry is partially easing the service industry-centered economic slowdown caused by the third corona19 epidemic.
KDI presented the results of the economic diagnosis in February economic trends announced today (7th).
KDI explained that production in the service industry is increasing with increasing social distancing in the lodging and restaurant industry.
On the other hand, the manufacturing industry analyzed that the average utilization rate was up 0.6 percentage points from a month ago, and the improvement was continuing on the basis of an increase in shipments and a decline in the inventory rate.
