Jakarta

Recently, there has been a lot of news stating that transaction flow Whoosh Fast Car controlled by Bank of China. Responding to this, PT Kereta Cepat Jakarta-China (KCIC) as the manager of the Whoosh Fast Train opened its voice.

KCIC General Manager Corporate Secretary Eva Chairunisa emphasized that financial transactions related to various high-speed train management and operational activities are carried out in Indonesia. In fact, to support this, KCIC has collaborated with a number of domestic National Banks.

Eva explained that the Whoosh Fast Train was the result of collaboration between two countries, namely Indonesia and China. In its implementation, the high-speed train collaborates with the China Development Bank (CDB) as a creditor to fund the project.

Therefore, to ensure smooth transactions, KCIC and CDB collaborate with 3 banks that are fully operational in Indonesia and have international networks under the supervision of Bank Indonesia and OJK, namely BNI, Bank of China, and ICBC.

“Most of KCIC’s business transactions will continue to be carried out domestically, so the circulation of funds is expected to continue to provide optimal benefits for the national economy,” said Eva, in a written statement, Saturday (25/11/2023).

Apart from that, Eva admitted that KCIC also continues to collaborate with several national banks in the country for ordering and paying for ticketing, employee payroll, and payments for company partners. In terms of banking services to passengers such as ticket reservations and payment transactions, KCIC also collaborates with Bank Mandiri, BNI and BRI.

Collaborations that are already underway include providing ticket ordering services on the Livin by Mandiri application, BRImo, payment for Whoosh ticket orders through all banks in Indonesia, and the use of EDC and QRIS for ticket payments at merchants, ticket purchasing machines and station counters.

KCIC has also provided BNI ATMs at the KCIC Halim Office and BRI ATMs at the Halim High Speed Train Station, Tegalluar High Speed Train Station and the Halim KCIC Office. The presence of this service aims to make it easier for passengers and the public to carry out banking transactions when leaving or arriving at the High Speed Train Station and KCIC Office.

“Collaboration with various banking financial institutions also continues to be expanded. Communication and exploration with banking institutions and other parties continues to be carried out so that services to the public and passengers become more optimal.” closed Eva.
