Jakarta –
Social media Twitter is busy discussing the Liverpool football club which beat Manchester United (MU) with a score of 7-0 on Sunday (5/3). These results have garnered a lot of attention from netizens to date.
Not only netizens, it turns out that MU’s defeat was also used by a number of brands to promote their products. Among them, there are BCA, Gopay, and Durex who used the moment of MU’s 7-0 defeat with numbers related to 7 or 0.
The Jakarta-Bandung Fast Train (KCJB) also doesn’t want to miss this moment. Through its social media accounts, KCIC wrote information posts about the KCJB electric multiple unit (EMU) circuit which has speeds of up to 350 km/h. The EMU name used by KCIC for the train was compared to MU’s big defeat to Liverpool last weekend.
“If that MU is 7 0, this EMU KCJB can reach 3 5 0 km/h, this is the speed!” KCIC tweeted via its Twitter account @KeretaCepatID, quoted on Tuesday (7/3/2023).
However, instead of getting a cool response, the KCIC Twitter account was ‘roasted’ by netizens. Some netizens actually asked KCIC not to get preoccupied and speed up its operations which never came.
“At least it won’t be a burden to the state before roasting, okay?” tweet one Twitter account.
“The train doesn’t stop, it doesn’t stop,” tweet another account.
“I’m not a fan of MU, but at least we’ll be operating the same day before joining the roasting again,” cuit akun @se*****w*****
“Dih join in, you’re not invited,” cuit @f***a*******n**
Seen detikcoma total of 191.3 thousand people have seen KCJB’s tweets, and there are 234 likes and 254 replies.
Not only about the late operation, netizens also highlighted the amount of KCIC’s debt.
“The project still has a large debt, the speed of the train on the ground is not too fast (350 kmph only on paper!), the money is not certain, it doesn’t reach Bandung Station either, it displaces Argo Parahyangan, don’t worry too much!” cuit akun @du**_of_*****e.
“If you want to roast MU, you should use this. “If that MU conceded 7 goals, this EMU KCJB can break into a budget of 8T.” tweet another account.
For information, as of January 2023, the progress of the KCJB construction has reached 84%. PT Kereta Api Indonesia China (KCIC) and PT Kereta Api Indonesia (KAI) target the KCJB development project to be completed in June 2023. KCJB is expected to operate commercially in July 2023.
Meanwhile, PT Kereta Api Indonesia China (KCIC) has just received 4 EMU series for KCJB. Of the 4 series, a total of around 32 fast train cars.
General Manager Corporate Secretary of KCIC Rahadian Ratry said, the arrival of 4 series of EMUs added to the list of KCJB EMUs that had arrived in Indonesia to 6 series of 11 series planned for KCJB operations.
The delivery of the remaining 5 series of EMUs to Indonesia will continue to be carried out in stages until the end of April 2023.
“The sending of EMU batch 2 to the Tegalluar Depot is part of the preparations ahead of KCJB’s operations,” Rahadian said in his statement, quoted on Friday (10/2/2023).
