In 2000, Kumkang Co., Ltd. and Korea Chemical Co., Ltd. merged and newly established as Kumgang Korea Chemical Co., Ltd., and in 2005, Kumkang Korea Chemical Co., Ltd. was renamed KCC Co., Ltd. to grow into a global high-tech material chemical company ranging from construction materials to silicon and high-tech materials.
