New Delhi: Internal strife within the Congress is escalating. Ruchi Gupta, joint secretary of the National Students’ Union of India, has resigned from the party demanding a change of leadership. Ruchi Gupta has resigned after criticizing Congress general secretary KC Venugopal.
KC Venugopal is delaying the change of leadership. This delay shattered the party. The party is going through a period of severe crisis. Ruchi Gupta said it was a year and three months since the National Committee convened and many state units had been waiting for months for the influx of new activists.
Bottom line operation is required. It needs strong leadership and leadership. There are always internal and obvious problems in Congress.
