“Kazakhstan pursues a fair and peaceful foreign policy in accordance with the UN Charter and the basic standards of international law. The department’s statement came after criticism from the President of Belarus in defense of Russia. Lukashenko criticized the unequal relationship between the countries. “They want to take something from Russia, but not give anything back. It doesn’t work that way. Let’s be together! This time is not long when you come to the same Russia and ask for support and help,” the Belarusian president said earlier.
Lukashenko emphasized that when “something happened in Kazakhstan,” it was Belarus and the Russian Federation that received requests for help. The President of the Republic of Belarus warned that a situation will arise one day where requests will be sent again to Moscow and Minsk, but “no one will come to your aid.”
