Today, 22 September, the match of the 5th round of the UEFA Nations League took place in group C, in which the Kazakhstan national team hosted a Belarusian team. The match took place at the “Astana-Arena” stadium. The referee’s kick-off sounded at 17:00 Moscow time.
The hosts opened the scoring. On 29 minutes, defender Mikhail Gabyshev scored with a Ramazan Orazov pass. At the end of the first half, already in extra time, Pavel Savitsky managed to equalize the score, the goal was counted after checking the video replays. In the 79th minute Baktiyor Zainutdinov managed to give Kazakhstan the lead. The referees also had questions about his goal scored, but after further replay revisions, the goal was counted. The final whistle of the referee marked the victory of the Kazakh team with the score of 2: 1.
