Onward website The UK government reports that as part of sanctions against Russia as a result of military actions in Ukraine, restrictions have been introduced against 56 individuals and legal entities. The list of companies that have come under British sanctions includes such organizations from Kazakhstan as:
- TawKZ LLP (involved in industrial production of bearings, instruments, tools and equipment parts);
- Rabadaziya LLP (wholesale trade, the company is owned by a foreigner);
- “CPS Energy” (municipal electric power company);
- “Zapchast-Trade” (engaged in wholesale trade of car parts and components for cars);
- Kazstanex LLP (engaged in the manufacture and supply of various goods and services in the field of mechanical engineering);
- “Stanex Group” (provides industrial equipment, building materials).
Sanctions include freezing assets and restricting the provision of trust services.

Moreover, before The Elem LLP group has been included in the US Department of Commerce’s Bureau of Industry and Security entity list. The Ministry of Economy explained that the restrictions that have been put in place mean that suppliers from the United States will no longer be able to send American goods to companies on this list without get special permission first.
