In his native land, the Michelin-starred Chef, and also crowned with a green star, Jérôme Jaegle, nature lover, has his own vegetable garden whose freshness of the harvests inspires the restaurant’s cuisine throughout the seasons.
This passionate about herbs and plants, also the son and grandson of a butcher, went to great chefs such as Jean-Yves Schillinger and Christian Têtedoie.
Competitive at heart, he has taken part in several national and international culinary competitions: 1st national Taittinger prize 2006 and 2008, 2nd at the international Taittinger prize 2006 and 2020, Bocuse d’Or France 2010, Bocuse de Bronze Europe 2010 and 4th with the Special Meat Jury Prize at the Bocuse d’Or Monde 2011.
The restaurant with a nature soul is made of wood and highlights soft and refined lines where plants and sustainable materials hold a good place.
The place of life is open to lush nature, in the middle of Alsatian vines.
Jérôme Jaegle’s cuisine is creative. The plants, herbs, berries and mushrooms from the gathering inspire him, as do the harvests from his vegetable garden. Fish from rivers and lakes and local meat are also in the spotlight.
