ACTUALIDAD spoke with the teacher of the La Botera Kayak School, which operates free of charge in the Municipal Park, about an ongoing solidarity project to have its own library.
«This space is something very nice that lends itself to recreation and together with a friend, Martín Volpatti, we decided to collect books for the children and adults who attend the place. The idea is to set up a library so that those who come can sit down and read”, commented Martín Willich.
The proposal was born just three weeks ago. «I invited Martín to the club, he loved the place, he had brought two books to read and two of my students, who are very good readers, grabbed them and started reading. So he told me ‘what if we ask for donations to build a library?’ “, continued the story.
His friend «studies Educational Sciences; and I also like reading a lot, so I loved the idea and we tackled it », he added.

Where will the library be? «Within the same club, in the kitchen sector, which is a very nice space. The idea is to have it well armed and catalogued.
