JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – The eldest son of President Joko Widodo ( Jokowi) Gibran Rakabuming Raka reports his wealth as one of the conditions advanced in Pilkada Surakarta City or Solo. Gibran was born on October 1, 1987 or is now 32 years old.
In the Report Wealth State Administrators ( LHKPN) which was reported to the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK), Gibran reported having wealth amounting to IDR 21.15 billion or to be precise IDR 21,152,810,130.
His greatest wealth comes from property assets. Gibran Rakabuming is known to have 5 plots of land and buildings, all of which are claimed to be their own results, aka not inheritance or grants.
His land and buildings are scattered in Sragen Regency and Surakarta City. For assets in the form of vehicles, Gibran reported ownership of 8 vehicles in the form of 5 cars and 3 motorbikes.

Like land assets, all his vehicles are his own results. Four-wheeled vehicles in the form of the 2016 Mitsubishi Pajero Sport worth IDR 350 million, 2012 Isuzu Panther IDR 70 million, 2015 Daihatsu Grandmax IDR 60 million, Toyota Avanza 2012 and 2016 IDR 60 million and IDR 90 million respectively.
For two wheels, Gibran collects the 2017 Royal Enfield motorbike with an estimated value of IDR 40 million, then the 1974 Honda CB-125 worth IDR 5 million and the 2015 Honda Scoopy worth IDR 7 million.
In the LHKPN, Gibran also reported the ownership of other movable assets worth Rp 260 million. Next, other assets in the form of cash and cash equivalents worth Rp 2.15 billion.
The politician who recently joined the PDI-P cadre also has assets that are recorded as other assets of IDR 5.52 billion and debts of IDR 895.58 million.

Salaries and allowances of the Mayor of Solo
The mayor’s salary is regulated in Government Regulation (PP) Number 59 of 2000 concerning Financial / Administrative Rights of Regional Heads / Deputy Regional Heads / and Former Regional Heads / Former Deputy Regional Heads and their Widows / Widows.
It is stated in the PP, the basic salary of a mayor level regional head is set at Rp 2.1 million per month. Although it is relatively small for the basic salary of a regional head, the mayor still receives a number of allowances that are above his basic salary.
One form of allowance received by officials at the mayoral level is the position allowance regulated in Presidential Decree Number 68 of 2001 concerning Position Allowances for Certain State Officials.
The amount of the mayor’s office allowance is IDR 3.78 million per month. Meanwhile, the position allowance for the deputy mayor is set at IDR 3.24 million per month.

Other benefits received by a mayor include rice allowance, child allowance, wife allowance, BPJS Health allowance, and BPJS Employment allowance.
Operating costs
However, apart from allowances, regional heads also receive monthly operational support costs. The amount of this allowance varies from region to region, because it is adjusted to the Regional Original Income or PAD.
This operational allowance is regulated in Government Regulation Number 109 of 2000 concerning the Financial Position of Regional Heads and Deputy Regional Heads.
With PAD above Rp 150 billion, the operational allowance is at least Rp. 600 million and a maximum of 0.15 percent of PAD.
Take, for example, the city of Solo or Surakarta has PAD in 2019 of around Rp. 2 trillion or to be precise Rp. 2,012,861,148,959. This means that the operational funds of the mayor of Solo are at least Rp. 600 million and a maximum of Rp. 3 billion, which is divided proportionally with their representatives.
