Kaufland is starting to accept even the most used brand of meal vouchers

Chain store Kaufland from the beginning of March, he expanded the possibility of paying by meal vouchers. It is now also accepting the Gastro Pass brand, ie paper meal vouchers and an electronic benefit card from Sodexo.

“We cater to our customers so that they can pay with the most used meal vouchers on the market,” says Renata Maierl, spokeswoman for Kaufland.

Kaufland has so far accepted meal vouchers Edenred, Up Czech Republic, Benefit plus and also the Moje stravenky brand, which is backed by a sister chain Lidl.

The limit for one purchase with paper meal vouchers from Sodexo is ten pieces of vouchers. “The limits for electronic cards are managed by individual meal voucher companies themselves. For paper, there are the same conditions for everyone, so that it is clear, especially for our customers, “the spokesman specifies.

Buy for meal vouchers only food is possible, on the contrary, it is not possible to use alcohol and non-food goods. Cash is not returned for paper meal vouchers, any overpayments can be left by the customer in the form of a donation for charitable purposes.

Kaufland and Lidl began to expand the possibility of paying with meal vouchers last autumn, but the Gastro Pass brand was still missing in Kaufland. Since November, the last of the large chains – Globus – has been accepting meal vouchers.
