Actor Kátya Tompos has not been seen in theaters or concert halls for two years, and now it has been revealed that the forty-one-year-old artist has cancer.

According to the post, since the current phases of her medical treatment abroad are not financed by the state, the costs incurred so far “have already consumed Kátya’s financial resources and reserves, as well as the amount previously collected by her friends.” That is why they are now turning to the public and organizing a charity gala on May 25 at the National Theater in Szeged, after which the proceeds of the event will go to the actress’ medical treatment fund.

– announced the foundation. The organizers of the concert also shared the account number where the donations are expected.
