Katy Perry, who announced she was expecting her first child a week ago, says she feels completely ready for motherhood. The 35-year-old singer talks to The Project that she had long wanted to become a mother.
“I was one of those girls who had baby clothes in my house before I even thought about becoming a mom and before there was an Orlando Bloom in my life at all,” said Perry.
“So I’m really looking forward to it. A few years ago I really wasn’t ready. But I’ve done everything to prepare and now I’m really ready.”
Thursday morning Perry released the full video clip of Never Worn White from. In the video, Perry shows that she is pregnant. Also on Instagram the singer shared the news. “Let’s say it’s going to be a busy summer,” she wrote in an excerpt from the music video.
Perry has been in a relationship with 43-year-old actor Bloom since 2016. She became engaged to him last year. Bloom already has a nine-year-old son: Flynn from his previous marriage to Australian model Miranda Kerr.
