The government of the Balearic Islands has opened an investigation into the artist Katy Perry after the singer recorded a VIDEO on the islet of s’Empalmador, in FormenteraThe American chose this territory for the images of Lifetimes but, apparently, he moved to the place without the permits relevant.
The Ministry of the Natural Environment will determine whether the filming has incurred in a infractionnot having authorization to record.
He s’Empalmador islet is part of the Salines Natural Park of Ibiza and Formentera and, in a statement, the Ministry has clarified that the production company “in no case” requested permission to carry out this filming.
The American star has filmed his latest music video, Lifetimeson the islands of Ibiza and Formenterawith scenes in which he appears dancing and jumping in different locations, such as urban areasa busy nightclub and in natural placessuch as the interior of the s’Espalmador dune system, within an area delimited by sticks and ropes that indicate that it is no trespassingwhich would also have included all of his recording equipment.
The Ministry has clarified that, in any case, if it is confirmed that lacked permission It would not be a crime against the environment, but rather a infractionsince the environmental authority can authorize the filming of photographic reports or videos.
