The 40th edition of the MTV Video Music Awards left us with some incredible moments worthy of mention at the UBS Arena in New York. Stars such as Katy Perry, Taylor Swift, Sabrina Carpenter, Camilla Cabello, Shawn Mendes and Chappell Roan brought the show to life with the most spectacular and original performances. Many of the guests surprised us with stunning looks (some with a story) on the red carpet and there were moments in the gala full of romanticism, such as the kiss between Orlando Bloom and Katy Perry or Taylor Swift’s speech dedicated to her boyfriend. Katy Perry was one of the biggest stars of the show. When it was time for the artist to take the stage to sing, someone very special had the honor of introducing her. Her husband, Orlando Bloom, said these words before kissing her in front of everyone present. “You fell in love with her as Katy Perry. I fell in love with her as Katheryn Hudson. You know her as a global superstar who brings love, light and her unique sense of humor to every song she writes and every music video she creates,” he continued. “I know her as a mother and as a partner and she brings that same love and joy to our family,” said the father of Daisy, four years old.
