“The family income is only enough for 15 out of 30 days of the month. Greece has one of the most expensive wholesale electricity prices in Europe and champions food price inflation.
90% of Greek businesses are excluded from the banking system. The funds are uncontrolled, they bought the loans from the banks at 15% of their value, they do not respond to the borrowers who make repayment proposals, they demand the full amount.

As he said, “a Greece is being created for the few, a Greek Economy without Greek businesses”.
Michalis Katrinis also emphasized:
“If PaSoK is silent and does not react in front of the cartel economy that is looting the country and the income of the citizens, how can it win the trust of the Greek citizens? If we accept these logics, then we are not PaSoK. Then we will not differ in anything from the New Democracy. We betray our history.
I am a candidate because I neither remain silent nor compromise with these logics. I am against this logic. I want to be the choice of Rife and Hope. I want to be the choice of democratic citizens and not of extra-institutional centers and entanglement.”
Michalis Katrinis emphasized that next Sunday’s elections for the selection of the new President of the PASOK are of decisive importance. They will determine the stigma and the political character of PASoK, which must once again become a force for change and overturning.
“The country is not the property of the big financial interests, Mr. Mitsotakis and New Democracy. The vote of the democratic citizens next Sunday must be a signal to reverse the plans of all those who are trying to manipulate the process of electing the President of the PASOK, to control the PASOK.”
