Kato was a guest on the talk show with her husband Tom Dice (32) to talk about their new record that is coming soon. On a few songs Callebaut sings about the difficult period she has gone through. “A lot has happened in two years,” says the singer. “First I lost my grandmother, who actually raised me a bit, and then my mom too. Fortunately that difficult time was brightened up a bit by our marriage, a very nice moment. But shortly after we said yes, I miscarried. That was the final blow, I was completely devastated. You can’t call it depression, but I haven’t been able to write music for two months.”

It was also a difficult period for husband Tom. “I tried to be there for her, but I couldn’t imagine how she felt,” he said. “It’s still a big taboo when a pregnancy fails,” Kato added. “People often keep quiet about this, especially if it happens in the early stages. However, I think it’s important to talk about it. In any case, our childhood dream is still there. I’m sure we’ll do it really well someday.”
