Kateřina Říhová does not follow the proverb about entering the same river. Years ago, the moderator did not get married to music producer Michael Říha, but last year they began to appear together more and more often.
The duo collaborated on the first musical single Říhová and obviously the spark jumped between them for the second time! This time, the ex-spouses went head-to-head and immediately started procreating offspring.
“We will be parents, we are still a little cold about it, but we are really looking forward to it,” the star of Europe 2 announced a joyful news in the autumn. Although Říhová honestly trained for childbirth, in the end she could not apply her experience. Her daughter was too big, which complicated the whole process of the baby’s birth.

The new mom admitted to the site TN.cz that the course of the birth was not exactly ideal, because the daughter was bigger than the doctors originally expected.
“So it was really challenging. I was honestly preparing for the birth, I went for walks, I ate chili, I took prenatal classes. I was prepared for everything, I approached it positively. Then they found out with an ultrasound that the baby will be bigger “but I’m a little smaller,” the presenter revealed. She tried to give birth naturally in the hospital for several days, but in the end she had to have a caesarean section.

“In the end, they offered me an induced labor, about four days before the deadline, to get out as soon as possible. But she didn’t react much, we induced the labor for three days, after which it started a little, but little. “She is healthy, beautiful, she weighs about 3,700 grams, so it’s really a cat. I’m in the intensive care unit now, today they should take me to my room and there we’ll get to know a little more and there will also heal my scar after The convalescence is estimated to last five to six days. The presenter is now recovering in the ICU, where visits are prohibited due to the covid, but her ex-husband was at the birth. Říhová was very grateful for her partner’s support, especially because last year the fathers were not allowed in the hall. “I’m very happy about that. It wasn’t possible this time a year ago,” she concluded.
