The drama series revolves around a sober psychologist (Herbers) and a spiritual priest in training (Mike Colter from Luke Cage) who together investigate crimes that may have a supernatural explanation. CBS recently ordered a third season.

Herbers takes on big stars like Christine Baranksi (The Good Fight), Melanie Lynskey (Yellowjackets) in MJ Rodriguez (FX). Other major series with multiple nominations are Mare of Eastown on Succession (both HBO) and Ted Lasso (Apple TV).
The Critics’ Choice Award has been presented annually by the Broadcast Film Critics Association since 1995. The winners will be announced online on January 9. Herbers has lived and worked in the US for several years. She sometimes alternates her American work with Dutch projects.
