Hochul will travel to his Manhattan offices on Friday to sign the “Less is More” Act, according to the New York Post. The law would prevent people from being re-incarcerated for technical and non-criminal probation violations, such as missing a curfew or being late for an appointment with a probation officer, which could lead to the release of hundreds of Rikers inmates locked up for these types of rapes.
