Kathleen Daly née O’Sullivan Remembered: A Life of Love and Legacy
Kathleen Daly née O’Sullivan, of Knockbrack, Firies, and formerly of abbeydorney, passed away peacefully in the loving care of her family and the Palliative Care Team at University Hospital Kerry. Her gentle departure has left a profound void in the hearts of her loved ones,who remember her as a devoted wife,mother,grandmother,and friend.Kathleen was predeceased by her parents, Catherine and Thomas, and her brother, Tom. She is survived by her beloved husband, John, and their eight children: JoeJoe, Catherine, John, Noreen, Thomas, Chris, Anthony, and Carol.Her legacy extends too her cherished grandchildren,great-grandchild,brothers Donie,Mike,and Christy,sister Eileen,and a wide circle of relatives,neighbors,and friends.
The family has announced that Kathleen will repose at Flynn’s Funeral Home in Castlemaine on Thursday, February 6th, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. her funeral will take place on Friday, February 7th, with a Requiem Mass at St. Carthage’s Church, kiltallagh, at 12 noon. The Mass will be live-streamed for those unable to attend in person, available at ChurchMedia.tv. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery.
In lieu of flowers,the family has requested donations to the Palliative Care Unit at University Hospital Kerry, a testament to the compassionate care Kathleen received in her final days.
