Like Kathrine Sørland (43) and Andreas Holck (51), there are probably more people who spend the snow-filled Christmas days in the cabin.
The Tvedestrand cottage that the couple bought this summer is located on a cottage field called Sørlandsleia, something that Sørland was hugely excited about ahead of the purchase.
Explains this: – Was practice
– It was a sign that we should find a cabin there. Leon actually wanted a mountain cabin, but then I have family in Stavanger, and then it’s very nice to be able to have a cabin near the family, she said when the couple took over the keys to the cabin earlier this year.
On Friday, however, Sørland reveals that the last cabin trip of the year was a little different than what they had imagined.
In front of Dagbladet, the 43-year-old tells that the family ended up being stuck in the weather during the first space Christmas in the new cabin.
Trouble at the cabin
– Our cabin is slightly on a slope and it was quite slippery today. Closest to the ice rink, says Sørland with a laugh.

If the troubled weather conditions were not enough, the family also had to travel to the pharmacy when their son Leon (15) had fallen ill. This did not go according to plan either.
– Dated someone in secret
– In addition, the car’s battery died. Our son Leon felt a bit unwell today so we needed to get to the local pharmacy, she continues.
Despite the fact that the weather gods were not on Sørland’s side, the local community came to the rescue when the family had to make their way to the pharmacy.

– Help came quite quickly, both with litter and roadside assistance. It was thanks to super service from lovely southerners, she tells Dagbladet, and adds that it all had a happy ending:
– We finally – unfortunately – went on a shopping trip and lost a few thousand today too. But the boy is much better now, fortunately, and the New Year’s dinner is in the can.
– My heart is bleeding
“Get ready”
Recently, Sørland also shared that there will be a family increase in the new year. In a post on the model’s Instagram profile, she shares a photo of the little kitten, “Little Miss Fab”.
“This year’s New Year’s picture in a box. Thanks to a beautiful soul who has realized how much I need these delicious animals in my life. Little Miss Fab will come to us in February. Eee! Isn’t she beautiful?”, writes Sørland under the picture of the white kitten.
“Andreas, get ready for cat hair in, among other things, the butter and in the boxers again,” she writes further.

In October, she shared a post on her Instagram, informing her followers that their cat Bolla had passed away. Half a year earlier, she also lost her cat Bølle.
– Almost 19 years with Bolla. The sister died six months ago, so today it hurt extra, Sørland told Dagbladet at the time.
Bolla and her sister Bølla were found at Finn in 2005. They were the two remaining cats from that litter.
