Katherine McPhee (36) and David Foster (70) are expecting a child, reports And News Thursday. It will be the first child for the singer and actress, the music producer already has five daughters.
The couple was photographed purchasing items at a baby store. McPhee can be seen in the photos with a round belly. Multiple sources confirm the news to the American entertainment website.
McPhee and Foster got married in 2019, two years after dating. This is not the first marriage for either McPhee or Foster. The artist, who broke through after her participation in the fifth season of American Idol, was previously married to actor Nick Cokas. In 2014, she announced a divorce after six years of marriage.
Foster has married no fewer than four times before, including actress Linda Thompson, Brandon and Brody Jenner’s mother, and Yolanda Hadid, originally from the Netherlands, from whom he divorced in 2017.
The music producer composed hundreds of well-known songs for artists such as Mariah Carey, Barbra Streisand and Céline Dion.
