Katharina Scheuba – Doctor swaps clinic for TV studio

Listen to article:

The 30-year-old doctor Katharina Scheuba is making the leap into television – and will take on a recurring role in the popular telenovela “Sturm der Liebe” from August 28, 2024.

As “Maxi Neubach”, the Viennese native brings a breath of fresh air to the “Fürstenhof” – and does so without completely hanging up her doctor’s coat.

Her character in the series is currently writing her doctoral thesis, which reflects Scheuba’s actual profession. From August 28th (episode 4267) onwards, the 30-year-old will be shaking things up at the “Fürstenhof”.

That’s what it’s about

Maxi Neubach is described by the production company Bavaria Fiction as “chaotic and lovable.” Katharina Scheuba sees her role as an exciting challenge.

She says: “Maxi is a cheerful person with a strong sense of justice. She would do anything for her loved ones, but that is exactly what brings her into moral conflict.”

Scheuba is looking forward to going through the emotional highs and lows of the series with Maxi. With her new role, Katharina Scheuba combines her two great passions: acting and medicine.

background

She has previously gained experience in front of the camera in films such as “Dinner for Eight” and “The Dark Girl” as well as in international productions such as “Gringo Hunter” and “Dirty Boy”.

She has also appeared in series such as “CopStories” and “Wienerland”. The actress, born in Vienna in 1993, comes from a family of doctors and decided to become a doctor in 2019.

But acting never left her. After various shoots and a specialist medical degree in Vienna, which she completed in 2023, she finally moved to Munich to take on her role in “Sturm der Liebe”.

Conclusion

Katharina Scheuba’s career remains a balancing act between the TV studio and the operating room – a balancing act that she masters with enthusiasm…
