Kate’s Absence at Queen Elizabeth II’s Deathbed: Was Meghan Markle to Blame?

There is no doubt that the Queen Elizabeth II death day it was one too moved; Between the announcement that the monarch’s health had worsened, until giving the news of her death and that Carlos would ascend to the throne, everyone was definitely on one side, including the royals. That was how he happened to the British royal family, as it became known that the only ones present to see the queen were her sons, and her grandsons William and Harry—no outsiders (save for Sophia of Wessex) were present.

Now there are assumptions that Meghan Markle was to blame for Kate not being able to say goodbye to Queen Elizabeth II. This is true?

Kate couldn’t say goodbye to Queen Elizabeth II because of Meghan Markle?

Kate would have stayed in Windsor looking after the children, and at the time Harry and Meghan flew from California to Scotland as soon as they found out what happened. But the author Robert Jobson, writer of Our King: Charles III: The Man and the Monarch, explained that Kate staying in Windsor was the ideal ‘short cut’ for Meghan not to be around.

“Harry insisted that Meghan travel with him to Scotland while the Queen vanished, but the King told her only children and grandchildren could be present.” Jobson mentioned. “Privately, I wanted [Carlos] saying that Meghan wasn’t welcome, but she couldn’t tell Harry that, so she personally stepped in to tell Kate to stand back so it would be fairer to Meghan.”

In Spare, Harry explained that it was his father who told him that Meghan could not accompany him to say goodbye to the queen on her deathbed. “He told me he was welcome at Balmoral, but… without her. He started to explain his reasons, but they didn’t make any sense, and besides, he was disrespectful. I won’t tolerate it.” Harry wrote, “Don’t even think about talking about my wife like that.”

“Sorry, he said with a stammer that he just didn’t want it to get crowded. No one’s wife was going, not even Kate, he told me, so Meg shouldn’t either. ‘Well, having started there'”; this is how Harry explained that he was told that both Kate and Meghan were not allowed to perform.

So far, no one from Buckingham Palace has commented on Kate and Meghan’s absence from Queen Elizabeth II’s deathbed. Shortly after death they were seen together with their respective husbands.
