Former presenter Kateřina Kristelová (43) has a wild past, when she was the target of the media and appeared almost everywhere on the headlines, but that is over today. Kateřina lives happily with the successful footballer Tomáš Řepka (49) and the fact that he attracts all the attention is not a problem for her at all. For a long time, Kateřina concentrated on writing a new book, Women behind her back, which she now christened, and in an interview with eXtra.cz she revealed that it was the first public event in a long time, where she appeared alongside her partner Tomáš Řepka. It suited the couple very well.
It has been a long time since Kateřina Kristelová and Tomáš Řepka last appeared together in public. Now they made an exception at the launch of her book titled Women behind, where they both beamed with joy. Kateřina even gave an interview to eXtra.cz, where she talked about the difficult life with a top athlete. Also about his past, which he certainly no longer desires.
Life alongside an athlete
In her book, Kateřina also mentions her life with an athlete, making her the eighth woman to complete the publication’s lines. However, she did not interview herself. “I didn’t interview myself, I wrote the draft of the book, which I sent to several publishing houses, and I was interviewed by Filip Hladík. The book is about seven women, I am the eighth, and it was a condition of the publishing house, because I had not communicated with the media for a long time,” Kateřina corrected.
If anyone thinks that life alongside an athlete is a walk in the park, the opposite is true. “A lot of people think it’s easy to be around a legend, but it’s not easy with any guy, whether he’s an athlete or not. But here it’s more about the fact that the guys are more visible and that makes it harder.” Kristelová confided.
Back to the Future
Kateřina Kristelová was previously a successful presenter. She hosted, for example, Óčko, Stream.cz or the T-music show on Prima. But now he no longer deals with it. But thanks to her relationship with Tomáš, she fell into the background a bit, because Tomáš Řepka draws attention to himself at every media event. But the former presenter says it doesn’t bother her at all. “I got what I wanted. So I was happy to retreat into the shadows. I was skinny, I don’t care what I look like anymore. I was in Playboy, I would never want that again. I was on various prestigious and the most disgusting headlines in the most disgusting contexts. Tomáš is a walking magnet for the media, and I notice that there is really some kind of busyness here,” she revealed.
“There was a time when I was in my twenties at a party and the best thing was to get drunk and have pictures of it because I thought it was interesting. But now, when I go out with something, I want it to have some subtext.” she confided. When asked what she says about her partner praising her as a housewife, she replied: “Well, I do not know. We have one such disease with Tomáš that we clean a lot. I don’t know if I’m an excellent housekeeper. I’ll take care of the household, after all, I have a twelve-year-old girl,” Kristelová concluded. But Tomáš Řepka is satisfied with Kateřina. “Kátia is a model case in the household,” he admitted in an interview for eXtra.cz.
