Kate Winslet, Zoe Saldana and Sigourney Weaver wowed the crowd when they appeared in all their glory for the highly anticipated world premiere of Avatar: The Last Airbender on Tuesday night.
The three co-stars made sure to turn heads in equally stunning outfits when they arrived at the social event at the Odeon in London’s Lessiter Square, reports the Daily Mail.
The Titanic star, 47, looked elegant in a fitted gray gown decorated with shimmering silver motifs on either side of the bodice, which she first wore seven years ago.
She posed in the stunning £1,000 Badgley Mischka gown with a train trailing behind her. Kate first wore it in 2015 for the premiere of her film The Dressmaker at the Toronto International Film Festival.
Kate previously said she doesn’t approve of wallowing in new red carpet gowns, that it’s a waste of money, and that she’ll be wearing her old clothes again. Kate Winslet recently paid the huge electricity bill of a mother with a sick child in Scotland. The energy was used to keep Carolyn Hunter’s daughter in life-saving equipment and Kate covered the £17,000 cost.
And Kate kept her word at the Avatar premiere on Tuesday, wowing moviegoers again in her shimmering Badgley Mischka gown.
Kate recently joined the Avatar franchise as the Na’vi warrior Ronal. She completed her look with a pair of silver drop earrings.
Meanwhile, Zoe, 44, who plays Neytiri in Avatar, made sure all eyes were on her when she donned a stunning black dress with a sheer skirt and a sequined bodice embellished with butterfly motifs.
She showed off her amazing figure in the eye-catching Alexander McQueen gown, completing her look with a pair of heels tucked under her billowing skirt.
The London event was joined by American actress Sigourney Weaver, who at 73 is still an exciting woman. She had chosen to wear a black suit, also by “Alexander McQueen”.
Sigourney Weaver returns to production, but not in her old Dr. Grace Augustine image, but in a new one: that of her daughter Kiri, who is adopted by Jake (Sam Worthington) and Neytiri (Zoe Saldana).
The 2009 film became the highest-grossing film of all time.
