Kate Moss (48) goes down in the history books as one of the most iconic models from the 90s.
Moss, who was discovered on a plane as a 14-year-old, now tells honestly in a new interview with BBC that the start of his career was traumatic.

The 48-year-old tells about how she traveled alone around the country for various modeling assignments, and about how, as a 15-year-old, she had what she calls a “horrific experience”. A photographer is said to have asked 15-year-old Moss to dress topless for a photo.
– I was very shy about my body, and I could tell that something was wrong, so I took my things and ran away, she says in the interview, adding that the experience sharpened her instincts about what was okay and what wasn’t.

Moss also says that she has cried a lot because she had to dress naked for photos.
– She (Corinne Day, photographer, journalist) would say “If you don’t take off your top, you won’t get the job for Elle”. It hurts. I loved her, she was my best friend, but she was a difficult person. But the pictures turned out amazing, so she got what she wanted and I suffered for them, but in the end they did me good. They changed my entire career.

Some of Moss’ most famous images are from a campaign done for the clothing brand Calvin Klein, done together with actor Mark Wahlberg.
Despite all the success that came from the pictures, the model says that she gets a bad feeling thinking back to that time, and reveals that she had to go on anti-anxiety medication to get out of bed.
– They played on my insecurities. Calvin loved it, she reveals, adding that she felt objectified, vulnerable, and scared.
