It has been exactly one year since Queen Elizabeth II died at the age of 96 and the British royals did not let this go unnoticed. Kate Middleton and Prince William visited St David’s Cathedral to attend a private service – and they did so, of course, in style.

Kate Middleton goes for favorite outfit formula
It now seems almost a regular occurrence for Kate: when she is expected at a solemn occasion, she invariably pulls out a blazer dress from the closet. And today it happened again. She appeared this afternoon in a beautiful copy by the British designer Eponine, including a hat by Sahar Millinery. But where she was spotted earlier this year in a bright blue blazer dress, this time she opted for a color that better suited the emotional occasion: burgundy. And as a result, consciously or not, she was on top of the autumn trends.
Kate looked extra stylish with her choice of accessories. Because from hat to shoe: everything had the same deep burgundy color. We think it’s a great example of monochrome dressing. Curious about her look? Watch it here:
