The Duchess of Cambridge Kate takes on the role of the late Prince Philip as the “unifier” of the royal family, helping to solve the problems in the family, wrote the British Daily Mail.
The editor of the royal affairs of Vanity Fair magazine, Katie Nicole, told an Australian TV show that Prince William’s 39-year-old wife has become the “most valuable asset” of the royal family in difficult times. “The royal family understands that there is an extremely important player in her face and entrusts her with a leading role,” the commentator said.
“I think Kate is literally the solder, the glue. That’s always been the Duke of Edinburgh, he helped solve family problems. He was the patriarch of the family. I watch Kate take on this role, she tries to preserve the unity of the family,” said Nicole.
The husband of Queen Elizabeth II, Prince Philip, died at the age of 99 on April 9.
