The comments made about her photo led Kate Middleton to apologize. With a post she made, she quickly apologized, stressing that she likes to occasionally experiment with editing.
“Like many amateur photographers, I occasionally experiment with editing. I wanted to apologize for the confusion caused by the family photo we shared yesterday. I hope everyone celebrating had a very happy Mother’s Day” he said characteristically.
The timeline of the case
Hours after her first Mother’s Day photo with her children was released, major news outlets dismissed her as “teased.”
“Upon closer inspection, it appears that the source has tampered with the image” The Associated Press reported in a statement, with a representative telling the Telegraph that “photo shows an inconsistency in the alignment of Princess Charlotte’s left hand”.
“Mandatory withdrawal. Due to an issue raised by the publisher, the photo of the Prince of Wales is being pulled and cannot be used again. Please remove her from everywhere” the French News Agency (AFP) reported for its part.
No comment from Kensington Palace tonight after at least 3 international pictures agencies refuse to distribute this morning’s photo of Kate and her children. Some of them (@AP ) have claimed “the source [the palace] has manipulated the image”. pic.twitter.com/ppOwDtPr9P
