If yesterday at Wimbledon was the day of the actors – sitting in the royal gallery there were among others Ian McKellen and Stephen Fry – today is the moment of the Windsors. The Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, godmother of the tournament, arrived on the central court to watch the match between Novak Djokovic and Jannik Sinner, accompanied by her husband, Prince William. his first appearance of 2022 at the prestigious London Slam. And of course she sits in her usual seat in the royal box, central and in the front row. To access the seats of the royal grandstand, you have to stick to a certain strict dress code, which includes an elegant look (no jeans, for example) – jacket and tie for men and cocktail dress for women – and Kate opts for a dress light blue with polka dot below-the-knee skirt. It is an outfit signed by Alessandra Rich that costs 1,515 pounds, or about 1,760 euros. Not the first time that the Duchess opts for polka dots: in fact in a previous edition of the Slam on grass she wore a white dress with black polka dots (it was 2017), while last year she wore a blue skirt with white polka dots completed by a jacket. She is radiant, always smiling, she wears a rosette on her chest, a bow with the colors of the tournament.
