“It takes a lot of audacity to talk about debts owed to employees of another party, when it is announced that the debt of your party, the ND, has shot up to 488 million euros, increased by 52 million euros”, underlines the president of SYRIZA in his post – PS, Stefanos Kasselakis.
“And yet, the far-right vice-president of the ND and minister of the dissolution of Health is using an ESIEA announcement to attack SYRIZA and me personally”, he notes and continues:
“Yes, SYRIZA is in dire financial straits.
And at the end of every month when we do everything we can, when we try tooth and nail to pay our employees, we have a clear conscience for just one thing: that we are not ND, that we do not have half a billion debts on the backs of the Greek people”.
“I have spoken in detail about the financial situation in SYRIZA. And while Mr. Georgiadis knows that this situation does not change depending on whether I am in Athens or on a few-day vacation, and while he knows that I have given SYRIZA as a private person the highest amount allowed by law, he nevertheless does not hesitate to partisan a matter of workers’ survival”, emphasizes St. Kasselakis, commenting:
“Really, it takes a lot of courage to be Adonis Georgiadis.”
“But we are not all the same. Other political leaders are more than doubling their party’s debts on the backs of the citizens, and others are trying to make ends meet by sticking to the law. “Other political leaders get an allowance even as… farmers, and others wish the law would allow them to contribute more money to their party,” concludes the post of the SYRIZA-PS president.
