Because when you claim to rule the world, you can’t play “crowns – letters” pretending to be a fool, you have to do it with humility” emphasized the Stefanos Kasselakis on Zarpa Radio of Crete, answering a question about his relations and contact with the citizens.
The program of SYRIZA
“We want open markets, we want labor rights, we want a social state, we want public health, a welfare state, a robust defense, a moderate tax policy,” said the president of SYRIZA, speaking about the party’s program and emphasizing his proposals for the economy :
“Right now we have a completely absurd taxation. First of all, the very idea that the businessman must pay his tax in advance is unheard of, it must be abolished.
Secondly, a tax scale must be created, for businesses that have revenues below 200,000 euros per year, i.e. 97% of businesses, the tax must be reduced.
Third, we need to think about a single way of individual scale taxation that lasts at least 10 years. And according to our own scale, for incomes up to 200,000 euros the tax will be reduced.”
Regarding the defense part, he emphasized that a SYRIZA government “will not be involved in US adventures around the world”.
“NATO is a defense alliance. I believe our equipment should stay within the country. We already provide a great service, our geopolitical location. We can provide humanitarian aid to Ukraine…” he said.
“Send Karamanlis to Justice”
“I think the 41% alibi should go. We see a huge cover-up in the crime of Tempe and a cover-up by the Minister of Transport himself, who had a bunch of warnings on his hands in the previous two years” he said about Costas Ah. Karamanlis and added:
“The indications of the crimes are enormous… Resigning as a minister and remaining a member of parliament is not a political responsibility. It is not instrumentalism to seek justice. It’s a matter of democracy. What we are asking is that they send Kostas Karamanlis to Justice.”

“Something is wrong institutionally, it is not human error. It’s one thing to punish police officers and another to find solutions so that women are not killed,” he added.
