The expulsion of Dimitris Papanotas from the European ballot of SYRIZA was mentioned by the President of the party Stefanos Kasselakis during his statements from Astypalaia.
With Evangelos Apostolakis by his side, Mr. Kasselakis said that “I did well! Let’s see if Mr. Mitsotakis will do the same for his MP from Drama (Dimitris Kyriazidis) who doesn’t know if he should put “o” or “h” in front of my name.
“He speaks with racist language, he insults a whole portion of his fellow citizens and he himself does not dare to do it”, added the President of SYRIZA.

“I call on all progressive citizens to rally with SYRIZA, you have space and from now on, you will also have the power in your hands from now on,” he noted.
“People here on the islands often complain that politicians remember them once every four years. If someone wants to say that they are listening to society and want to build a movement from the bottom up, they have to melt their shoes and enter society. These people here feel second and third class. They charge me for taking a cruise. How could they know what conditions we are doing this cruise. It would be interesting to see not only cost-wise, but also time-wise this tour we are doing, how many days someone would do by conventional means. What we do in 10 days I imagine would like 40 days. This shows how much we are undermining development as a country in trade, tourism and health,” added Mr. Kasselakis.
