The president of SYRIZA – Progressive Alliance, Stefanos Kasselakis, was close to the citizens in towns of Aetoloakarnania, ending up in Messolonghi, firm in his choice for his unmediated contact with the world, where he works, moves and experiences his daily life.
“I came unannounced because I want to see how you are, I don’t want to listen only to the party mechanisms”, emphasized the president of SYRIZA-PS.
The communication with the citizens also includes the anxiety about the steps of SYRIZA – PS: “Scepticism is legitimate. The burden is on my shoulders to get you white-faced,” Stefanos Kasselakis pointed out to someone who expressed it in good faith.
His path took him to the shop of Giorgos and Popi: “helping the self-employed has ruined us”, they told him, so that the president of SYRIZA-PS agreed that “what is being done is immoral”. A comment that was effectively reaffirmed when, at a pharmacy he entered, he was told that people were “getting to the point of cutting off the medicine” and indeed the prescription, as he was assured when he asked.
