The candidacy of Stefanos Kasselakis for the presidency of the SYRIZA PS was submitted by Theodora Tzakri at the meeting of the Central Committee, according to information. According to the same sources, the nomination is accompanied by 87 signatures and the whereabouts of Mr. Kasselakis.
It is recalled that Stefanos Kasselakis had previously announced his candidacy for the leadership of SYRIZA, posting a video and a relevant statement on social media.

Tzakri: “Today a diversion was completed” – Gerovasili: “There are no presidential candidates by representatives”
“A diversion was completed today. A momentous majority of yesterday not only overturned the road map of the conference that it had voted for, but today announced that the conference will not fit everyone”, said Theodora Tzakri in statements he made to the television cameras, after testifying before the Central Committee on candidacy of Stefanos Kasselakis.
“After the secret votes and telephone votes, we arrived at the zoom conference that will be handled by them themselves precisely to silence the voice of the Greek people. Whatever they do, they cannot prevent the new to be born, whatever they do, they cannot prevent the society from electing Stefanos Kasselakis president of SYRIZA PS from the first Sunday,” he said. “So today I submitted before the Commission the 87 symbolic signatures that support the candidacy of Stefanos Kasselakis – 87 as well as those who overthrew him – and where he belongs to and I declare that all the rest will be told at the ballot box with his solemn election to the presidency of SYRIZA”.
Gerovasili: There are no presidential candidates through representatives
Earlier, immediately after the intervention that Mrs. Tzakri had made at the meeting, Olga Gerovasili went up to the platform of the KE and stated, according to information, that “there are no candidate presidents by representatives”. He said that “the conditions for submitting a nomination are not two (signatures and where you belong), but three. It is also respect for the constitutional principles, the values and the collective decisions of the party” and that “whoever does not respect the democratic decisions of the majority is not talking about SYRIZA – PS but about another party”. Mrs. Gerovasili, according to the same information, asked Mrs. Tzakri “to withdraw the insulting and insulting things she uttered from this stage at the expense of comrades and comrades”.
